EDEM 2009 Conference - A Success
The third conference on Electronic Democracy EDEM 2009 took place on Sept. 7 and 8, 2009 in Vienna. Nearly 100 experts in the field of eDemocracy participated, the program covered all aspects of electronic citizen participation.

The program committee awarded the EDEM 2009 Best Paper Award, which was sponsored by the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The winners were Peter Cruickshank and Colin Smith (Napier University, Edinburgh) with their contribution "Self-Efficacy as a Factor in Evaluation of e-Petitions". Congratulations!
